it was good. kinda slow and a bit confusing and overdramatic. but, I guess because of the plot it has to be. I did really enjoy it though, and it is a great read!!!

Wow, this book should be mandatory reading at public schools. it really shows how bullying can drive kids to terrible things. just because someone is not like the main crowd doesn't mean they don't have feelings.

LOVED THIS BOOK!!! From the very first page to the last I had to pull myself away from it at night to get sleep. If you followed the real Columbine Shooting in the states, this is a MUST READ!! Really sheds light on what happens to those who are connected to extreme events.

This was a pretty good book. It shows people to open their eyes and get the full story before trying to make any conclusions. I liked the ideas in the book a lot, but sometimes I didn't like the way it was written.

Five months ago, Valerie Leftman's boyfriend, Nick, opened fire on their school cafeteria. Shot trying to stop him, Valerie inadvertently saved the life of a classmate, but was implicated in the shootings because of the list she helped create. A list of people and things she and Nick hated. The list he used to pick his targets. Now, after a summer of seclusion, Val is forced to confront her guilt as she returns to school to complete her senior year. Haunted by the memory of the boyfriend she still loves and navigating rocky relationships with her family, former friends and the girl whose life she saved, Val must come to grips with the tragedy that took place and her role in it, in order to make amends and move on with her life.

"Do you think I would've done it?" I cried at one point. "If I had a gun, would I have shot Christy? Because when Nick said, "Let's go get this finished," and I thought he was going to, I don't know, embarrass her or maybe beat the crap out of her or something, I felt so good. So, like, relieved, I wanted him to take care of her." p.204
